Over the past few years, we - globally - have been trying to reduce our CO2 emissions in many different ways (new vehicles, innovations in terms of consumption, etc.). But in the IT space, cloud computing is and will remain a big contributor of global warming. That's why we want to create an opportunity to think about it together.
The goal of this online hackathon is to find ways for all of us to reduce our environmental footprint by consuming cloud better.
The environmental impact of cloud computing
The topic guidelines will be shared on the call that will launch the hackathon on June 29.
Our DevOps framework aims to optimize the cloud consumption by allowing you to pause your environments, automatically or manually.
And we are sure that much more can be done for the planet!
